The range runs from cigarillos you can get through in ten minutes to full-size coronas that’ll last you an hour. Most come in packs of five or ten rather than as singles, which is part of why they work out cheaper.

Machine made or hand rolled?

• Machine made – consistent, cheaper, and reliable. The same smoke every time. Good for regular smoking rather than saving for an occasion.
• Hand rolled – made individually with long-filler tobacco, more variation between cigars, and priced accordingly. Have a look at those if you’re after something for a particular evening.

Neither is better. They’re for different occasions, and most people who smoke cigars buy both.
