Cigars at Willy Banjo — single sticks if you fancy trying something, full boxes if you already know what you like. We’ve been selling them from the Preston shop since 1993.

The range covers hand-rolled and machine-made, flavoured and plain. Some are a twenty-minute smoke, some will see you through an evening. Prices run from a few pounds for a single up to a full box.

Not sure where to start?

• Never bought one before — start with a single rather than a box. Nobody needs ten of something they turn out not to like.
• Want something short — a petit corona runs about twenty to forty minutes. Look at Flavoured Cigars.
• After something sweeter — Backwoods are flavoured small cigars, five to a pack.
• Buying more than a couple — get a humidity pack from Cigar Accessories or they’ll dry out.

Common questions

Can I buy a single cigar?
Yes. Most of our cigars are sold singly as well as in fives and full boxes of ten, so you can try one before committing.

How do I stop cigars drying out?
Keep them in a sealed box or tin with a two-way humidity pack. A dried-out cigar cracks and burns hot; a damp one won’t draw properly.

Can I buy in the shop rather than online?
Yes — we’re at 13a Lowthian Street in Preston city centre, down the side of the Black Horse. Stock moves about, so ring 01772 887772 first if you’re making a special trip.
