The Conquistador Robusto is a handmade Nicaraguan cigar built around long-filler tobaccos from the Condega and Jalapa growing regions, under an Ecuadorian wrapper.
It’s a medium-bodied smoke with a smooth draw. Expect earthy notes from Nicaragua’s volcanic soils, a bit of warming spice, then roasted coffee and dark chocolate as it develops.
At 2 out of 5 for strength it’s on the gentler side, which makes it a sensible first hand-rolled cigar as well as an easy everyday one.
