A 23cm glazed ceramic bong moulded as an alien head, for anyone whose shelf leans science fiction.
The mouthpiece carries a hand grip, which is more useful than it sounds on a ceramic piece — ceramic is heavier than acrylic and a moulded grip stops it sliding when your hand is damp.
The downpipe and bowl are removable, so it strips down for cleaning rather than being a sealed unit you rinse and hope about. On a ceramic bong that is the single most important feature, because you cannot see inside it.
Ceramic sits between acrylic and glass. It is heavier and more solid-feeling than acrylic and it adds nothing to the taste, but it is not transparent, so you cannot see the water level or how dirty it is getting. Rinse it on a schedule rather than when it looks bad.
