This is the large version of the classic US-style metal pipe. The build is the same as the small one — interchangeable parts, screws apart in seconds — but the bowl holds more, so you reload less often.
It is the better pick if a pipe is mostly staying at home or being passed around, where the extra bulk does not matter. If it is living in a jacket pocket, the small one is easier.
Straightforward, durable and cheap enough to own more than one. Run a pipe cleaner through it before first use.
