The Red-Eye Amazed is the original A’maze’d pipe and still the one most people mean when they ask for a Red-Eye. It is a machined metal hand pipe, small enough to sit in a closed fist, with a screw-off cap and a clean bore.
Red-Eye quote the internal maze path at 320mm. That is 320mm of travel packed into a pipe you can carry in a jeans pocket, and it is the whole point of the design — a longer, cooler draw than a straight metal pipe of the same size.
Red-Eye build their pipes around an internal maze. Instead of running straight from bowl to mouthpiece, the smoke is sent the long way round inside the body, which gives it time and metal surface to lose heat before it reaches you. It is the reason these cost more than a plain one-piece metal pipe.
