A twin blade guillotine cutter with an oval body, taking cigars up to a 23mm ring gauge.
The two blades close from either side at once. A single blade pushes the cigar against the far wall of the opening as it cuts, which is what crushes the cap and ruins the draw. Two blades meeting in the middle apply the pressure evenly and cut cleanly.
Ring gauge is the width of a cigar measured in 64ths of an inch. A cutter rated to 20mm will not close on a 60 ring gauge cigar, so match the cutter to what you actually smoke before anything else.
The oval body sits more comfortably between finger and thumb than a flat rectangular cutter, which matters when you are applying real pressure.
